Angie Meets Eagle

Hello, everyone!

This post is full of pictures that I have stolen from the Saca to my 'Gawea, Sarah Cahalan. Thank you, Sarah, for capturing this truly terrifying moment.

So, friends, I was sitting innocently on my bench, enjoying volunteering students against their will to be a landing pad for eagles when my friend, Pleasant German Man, came for a little sitsy next to me.

I'm no idiot, kids, I've heard the old saying "Where goes the Pleasant German, so there goes terror." I knew what was coming my way.

AN EAGLE.

Oh, look, a nice big birdy in the distance.

Why don't you come hang out with us?  It's just me and my friend, Pleasant German Man.
Phew. He's coming in for the landing.  I have space.
WHAT IS HAPPENING?! I'M GOING TO BE CARRIED AWAY!
All is well.  The eagle has landed.
Oh no, go ahead, nibble away at my hand.
What a world we live in, people.  Birds chewing your fingers off.  Pleasant German Man trying to "keep you safe."  Just another day in the Irish life.

With love from Dublin,
Angie
